class=\"wpb_text_column us_custom_891b4917\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><strong>The Bicitancats project is a project launched by the Generalitat de Catalunya to improve the bike-public transport intermodality with secure parking lots and rental bicycles.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With this project, we want to achieve:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Encouraging the use of bicycles as a complement to public transport in order to increase the territorial coverage of stations and the number of public transport users.<\/strong>\u00a0The bicycle facilitates access to public transport and makes the bike-public transport chain more competitive with respect to private transport.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Increasing the safety of bicycles parked in our facilities<\/strong>, to encourage the use of bicycles as a complement to public transport.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Currently there are already <strong>157 secure bicycle spaces<\/strong> at the Biciestaci\u00f3 de Sarri\u00e0, Sant Bo\u00ed, Sant Quirze, Universidad Aut\u00f3noma, Terrassa United Nations, and Sabadell Nord stations.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, this year it is planned to put into service <strong>3 bicitancats on the Barcelona-Vall\u00e8s line<\/strong>, at Bellaterra, Can Feu | Gr\u00e0cia and Valldoreix stations; and <strong>7 bicitancats on the Llobregat-Anoia line<\/strong>, at Vilanova del Cam\u00ed, Martorell Enlace, Pallej\u00e0, Piera, Sant Andreu de la Barca, Sant Vicen\u00e7 de Castellet, and Sant Vicen\u00e7 dels Horts stations.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_medium\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div lighting and continuous surveillance with direct communication with the security forces, to ensure the safety and comfort of all users.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, you can check the overall occupancy of the bicitancats in real time and contact the customer service and incident resolution service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section 2017, the City Council of Sant Quirze and FGC have been working together <strong>to offer the service of shared use electric bicycles<\/strong> for workers in the nearby industrial estates and customers of FGC.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the new mobile app, users will be able to identify the bike they want to use and geolocate their available fleet at all times.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative helps to <strong>minimize travel time<\/strong> between the station and the workstations; while positioning the electric bike as an <strong>energy-efficient means of transport, ideal<\/strong> for short distances.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"l-section wpb_row us_custom_e826e2de height_medium\"><div class=\"l-section-h Pyrenees, to promote a more sustainable and environmentally friendly model of tourism, and to combat climate change. We want to create a future for the Catalan territory. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"g-cols wpb_row us_custom_ec1e580b via_flex valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"vc_col-sm-12 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner us_custom_6df5ff99\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column us_custom_bb9906b8\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>For this reason, FGC promotes the use of bicycles in the Pyrenees mountain resorts with the aim of boosting and promoting tourism and sport 365 days a year.<\/p>\n<p>To this end, we have created a range of products and services related to cycling in mountain resorts; we collaborate with institutions and municipalities to increase the competitiveness of the tourism sector in the territory and with private initiatives for the structuring and promotion of cycling products and events. The pass of Port Ain\u00e9 is one of the most visited destinations by bicycle tourists in Pallars.
