What should I do if I have been charged a minimum penalty that I disagree with?

You can file an objection to a minimum fine by the different methods listed below. In all cases, you must specify the minimum fine number that appears on the receipt you were given and attach all the documentation you consider necessary for your request (for example, the ticket or card you used).

  • FGC website: www.fgc.cat/atencio-a-client. It is necessary to scan and attach the following documents, in pdf or jpg format: your ID (both sides) or passport, a signed document stating your request, the minimum payment that was given to you and a copy of the ticket you used (both sides), if available.
  • Through the objection’s paper form that can be found at any FGC station.
  • By appointment only, at the Customer Service Centers, located at Pl. Catalunya station (weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.) and Pl. Espanya station (weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.). To book your appointment access Centros de atención al cliente – FGC
  • Sending a signed letter to the following address (you must include a photocopy of your ID or passport):
