Are FGC stations and trains accessible for people with reduced mobility?

Yes. All FGC stations are accessible and adapted to facilitate mobility for all users. In addition, ticket vending machines are equipped with special software for people with visual impairments.

As for the trains, they are designed to be accessible and include:

– Reserved spaces for PRM (Persons with Reduced Mobility), with a specific panel where all functionalities are available at a height accessible to PRM users. On the Barcelona-Vallès line, these spaces are located at the ends of the trains. On the Llobregat-Anoia line, the space is located in the center of the train unit.
– Reserved seats near the doors to facilitate access and easily identifiable thanks to their different-colored upholstery. They are also marked with special permanent signs on the windows.
– A communication system with the driver, installed at an accessible height and incorporating accessibility features for people with hearing, visual and/or cognitive disabilities.

The timetable search tool on the FGC website shows adapted itineraries for people with reduced mobility. People with hearing disabilities can contact FGC by SMS at 675 78 70 02.
